Cara Kaczmarek

I began my training as a dancer, studying ballet for six years at Seiskaya Ballet, which truly set the foundation for me to excell in athletics (with grace).  Yet,  breaks between classes were spent watching gymnastics at the gym next door and flipping around the playground at school dreaming about the Olympics.  When gymnastics finally became a reality I was a teenager and a student here at Nastics (20 years ago?!) and didn’t really have the time to pursue my passion.  It wasn’t until college that I fully realized my dream - teaching.

Gymnastics is my heart.  Dance is my soul. Children are my joy.  Second only to my family, teaching is my reason for living. I love to challenge a student - mentally, physically and even spiritually, in that the spirit of who they are can shine through even in the smallest movement.  I try not to miss any opportunity to teach, whether it be math,  French, or kindness to others.   I truly feel blessed to do something I love with these energetic, courageous, happy little people.

Nastics - the great kids, the truly dedicated, fun and inspiring staff, the owners, the Valentines (I know I’m a little old but you’ve been like surrogate parents at times!) - all such good people who have supported my dream - thank you -  I love you guys!!
